While preparing last week’s popular article, The FINAL Word on Free-floating Electric Scooters (For Now) we came to realize that there lacks an overview of all the various shared e-trott (what we call electric kick-scooters) actors. Further complicating the matter is the fact that new shared e-trott schemes are entering the market at what feels like a breakneck pace, making it hard to keep track of all the players in this relatively new ecosystem. The Urban Mobility Daily team has devised the below table in order to help our readers understand which companies are operating and how much they are worth. The table will be updated regularly to reflect any changes in the ecosystem and we hope it will become a useful reference for you. If you work for a shared e-trott company and do not see your brand in the table or wish for us to make a correction, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
